Thank you Auntyjeez...

Well yess….many thanks and regards to my dearo “aunty jees” who are providing their endless opinions and comments about me…my relationship status…and all other things…I think Ma has been hanging around too much with aunties of the colony, throwing in words of wisdom on ‘Shaadi’ to my mom.

On a serious note, it’s not that I’m a commitmentphobic to an extent where the idea of a future wedlock sounds highly peculiar but the point is that..reality dawns and lust fades..Sooner or later. And to think of a co-existence with someone who can’t stand the REAL me and vice versa, is a nightmare!!

Picture the excerpts:

1. A girl’s marital value is at peak in her 20’s.(Confusion..confusion..are we referring to girls or shares in the stock market?)

2 My Dad’s-Uncle’s-Cousin brother’s-Wife’s-Sister’s-Eldest daughter suggest (Hun..rishta te samjha dyo)

3. (And beat this) Kudi nu bol..focus her ‘social radar’ and catch the signals soon (Keda signal..aunty jiiii ?)

While Papa maintains a silence, Ma invariably gets wild, not because she’s genuinely worried about it but because a hoard of other anonymous well wishers are!!

Marrying is not for the better or for the worse but for the good. It’s not in I, Me and Myself, but in We and Us. The million dollar question is not how compatible you are, but how do you get over with your share of incompatibilities.

Ma, the day I find someone who accepts me for what I’m and I feel proud of what he is, that one special person whom I can annoy for the rest of my life, and who says “I love to laugh with you”, someone whom I can love more than myself and as much as my family, I will marry him, simple as that.

Till that time…please start making perfect use of your time…'thoda Bhajan Keertan mein’….mainu baksh deo..!!

Mere Yaar Kee Shaadi hai.....!!

God has made pairs up there in the sky...bus unkaa milna hum par chodh dia hai...!!

Ever witnessed a wedding...away from home...surrounded by friends and colleagues ...nahi naa...read on then...!!

Recently a friend of mine got married ...kaafi soch vichar ke baad ye decision lia gaya tha….Obviously anybody would think a million times yaar...!!

15th August ka aitehaasik din....was chosen as the date of his wedding....what an irony...na i'll not comment on this more nahi to maar padegee..!!

We reached at the Grooms’ place early morning, all were present except the GROOM...which was quite expected....and he knows why... :-))

Then..some more friends came in...some more talks..chitchats..and finally GROOM appeared...with a smile on his face...the LAST smile....oops....before marriage...!!He got ready on time and we left for destination MANDIR.

Then came the bride....She looked wonderful....all emotions and expressions...the joy of getting into an everlasting relationship with the one she loves was purely visible on her face...!! I would like to make a special mention here....She did all her shopping in one day..that too from Chandani Chowk...Hats off..!!

Ceremony Begins:
There was a two in one Pandit jee....kaise...
One, he was the one who got the couple registered as husband and wife on papers and handed over marriage certificates to the duo.
Two, he enchanted all mantras and shlokes in Arya Samaj Mandir and made this marriage ceremony a success.

Although there were four wedding vows as it was an aryasamaj wedding...I’ll mention all seven vows:

The first step is taken to earn and provide a living for their household or family, and avoiding those things that might harm them.
The second step is taken to build their physical, mental and spiritual powers and to lead a healthy lifestyle.
The third step is taken to earn and increase their wealth by righteous and proper means.
The fourth step is taken to acquire knowledge, happiness and harmony by mutual love, respect, understanding and faith.
The fifth step is taken to have children for whom they will be responsible and blessed with healthy, righteous and brave children.
The sixth step is taken for self-control and longevity.
The seventh step is taken to be true to each other, loyal and remain life-long companions by this wedlock.

Couple looked fantabulous together. Wishes and blessings to the newly wed came from all people present there... plenty of pictures were taken...My favorite pic was: when people were giving sweets to the groom...yaad hai na... :-))

Party:

Bade log...he has planned for a lunch in five Star Hotel...which was good and we all enjoyed there...I was continuously smiling and laughing because of some reasons....Kya karu...aadat se majboor hu..!!I left for home (from the so called "Grih Pravesh" for my family) congratulating them and taking all memories with me....!!

Aftermaths:
Status stands awaited…:-))

Bride and the Groom: A special dedication to you by this post on my blog..(Your Dushmans' Blog). Marriage is a funny and complex journey..so enjoy this journey with the warmth of your relationship and never let any awful thing overtake your life.

~~~~Wish you a very happy married life-God bless~~~~
Vasudevasya Kutumbhakam
Meaning of the title : Deity’s’ family . “Whole world is one family”
No..Not a serious note this time. I used this title to pay my gratitude towards technology, connectivity and to those intelligent brains because of which we are connected to the whole world.
Recently I met my school mates. It was a reunion held after eight years and yes I met one of my friend after 12 lonnngggggg years….she came from US of A.I was not expecting some faces but meeting them was a sugar coated surprise for me.
Kahawat hai…”Sometimes in life we think we don’t need anyone..but sometimes we don’t’ have anyone when we need..so do not let your buddies ever go..” ya ya senti marne ke lie likha hai…!!
Oh..getting back to the topic….THANKS to ORKUT that we all met again through DAV community and stayed connected from last 3 years…. we didn’t felt that we are meeting after such a long time. At least there was absence of those sounds…..aaaaa….ooooooooooo…….yeeeeeeeeeeee…..my goooooooooddddddddddd…..because we were talking /chatting with each other and were familiar to all faces. FOR GOOD..!!
Moving forward….all updates, thoughts were shared amongst each other probably we all wanted to clasp news about all our classmates. All of them including us have been promoted in the journey of life (some professionally and some personally). I would like to name few designations here:
Husband and Wife
Father and Mother…phewww..!!
I know I am from the bunch of "Samajhdaar friends” who has till now managed to stay away from this illusionary beautiful world of marriage…this is not offensive…just a personal thought :-))
Unexpected news about some mates was also heard.
All in all a good show that came to an end with a dinner at Moti Mahal in GK I.We all left with a promise to meet again with more people and more updates next time.
~~God bless them all~~
